The School of Public Affairs and the Terrorism and Homeland Security Policy program will hold a campus-wide event to recognize the 20th anniversary of September 11. It will include two morning panels of THSP faculty experts discussing important topics related to the terrorist attacks in 2001. Two afternoon panels will be about remembrance and community building. Faculty will lead student-focused sessions and share their thoughts on what it was like on September 11th and encourage all participants to share stories about what the anniversary means to them, reflect on its significance, and come together as a community.

 

Keynote address: Peter Bergen, Vice President for Global Studies & Fellows, New America Foundation; CNN National Security Analyst; Co-director, Center on the Future of War at Arizona State University 

 

Closing Remarks: Trace Lasley, Adjunct Professorial Lecturer, Department of Justice, Law & Criminology
