The Project on Civic Dialogue Is honored to host the next series in our Teach-In events, this time about tariffs and the history of American import taxation. This event will feature Mindy Herzfeld, an author and professor of practice at Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, specializing in International Tax Policy, and Kyle Pomerleau, a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute whose works on macroeconomics and tax policies have been published many times over.
Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join PCD as we investigate the sudden surge in tariff talk within the Trump Administration, as well as the possible political and economic consequences of such policies. We look forward to hearing our two experts elaborate on the real-world consequences of import taxation as they engage with the AU community.
