Join SPA Librarian Olivia Ivey to get to know the library resources that will set you up for success in your SPA graduate program. After taking a close look at databases and other library provided content, we will demonstrate the uses of citation management software. Questions welcome throughout!

 

Wednesday, January 12, 4:00pm-5:15pmET | Securing You: Personal Privacy and Operational Security for Master’s Students Interested in Careers in Government via Zoom

Join Professors O’Connell and Gumbrewicz for an introduction to personal privacy and operational security issues of particular relevance to students with a focus on a career in government including:

    • Informed, professional social media practices;
    • What to consider when building your professional network and personal brand; and
    • An overview of the security clearance process

 

Thursday, January 13, 4:00pm-5:15pmET | Introduction to Mentoring Program via Zoom

Learn more about the Mentoring Program and connect with other mentors and mentees. We will address frequently asked questions and respond to any questions you might have about the program. Incoming students are required to attend this workshop to be paired with a mentor. Mentors are strongly recommended to attend.
